Al Huda has operated an Elementary School within Mississauga for over a decade. We’ve been operating at full capacity with over 480 students for the last few years, so it’s time to expand our operations! In February 2024, we launched an online grade 9 course with 17 students. As of September 2024, we’ve been running a full-time school for grade 9 students, Alhamdullilah.

Interested in applying?

You’re eligible if:

  • You’re a Canadian citizen or a resident
  • You’ll be completing grade 8 by the end if 2024-2025 school year (for grade 9 applicants), or completing grade 9 by the end if 2024-2025 school year (for grade 10 applicants)

We do not accept international students at this time.

Step 1: Fill an Online Application

Online Application Form requires one of the following documents for proof of Canadian Residence & age:

  • Birth Certificate
  • PR Card or
  • Passport

You’ll receive a confirmation email with your Application Number to be used as a reference.

Step 2: Complete Registration Process

You’ll be contacted to complete registration. Please have the most up to date report card of the student ready to be uploaded.

Step 3: Pass Interview & Entrance Test

We’ll contact you to schedule your entrance assessment which includes assessing basic reading and mathematics skills for the student’s grade level, along with an interview.

Step 4: Accept Admission Decision

The assessment and interview will be reviewed and you will be notified regarding a final admission decision.

Step 5: Make Payment to confirm spot

To reserve the spot, the materials fee along with last month’s fee must be paid within one week of being accepted. These fees are non-refundable.

Discount & Financial Aid

  • Discounts are available for families registering multiple children at Al Huda Elementary & Secondary. Siblings discount is applicable in the order of descending tuition. Please refer to the sibling discount table here.
  • Financial Aid is also available on a case by case basis. If you require financial aid, please indicate it on the admissions form.

Please note, financial aid is limited and not guaranteed and the request for aid has no bearing on an admission decision. Sibling, Staff, and/or financial aid discount is not applicable for Last Month’s Tuition Fee.

When can I expect to hear back?

We’re processing admissions on a rolling basis. You can expect to hear back from us within 1-2 business days.

Can I enroll my child in the Journey through the Qur'an program only?

Our Journey through the Qur’an program is exclusively offered only to our Al Huda Secondary Students. If you wish to enroll your child in the program, you must enroll them as a full time Al Huda Secondary student.

What grades are you accepting for?

We are accepting students for grade 9 and grade 10. Admissions will be granted on a first come first serve basis.

My child goes to Al Huda Elementary School. Do I have to submit an application for them?
Yes, you are required to fill out an application for Al Huda Secondary School, even if the child was an Al Huda Elementary Graduate.
What is your class size and do you guys have separate sections for boys and girls?

We would like to keep our class sizes small with a maximum of 24 students in each grade. If the class sizes are smaller due to limited number of applicants, we will have one section for each grade with both boys and girls. However, we are mindful of segregation in classrooms, gym, and for any other school excursions.

Where are you located?

Our Elementary school location is 1135 Central Pkwy W, Mississauga, ON L5C 3J2.

Our Secondary school classes are offered at this location temporarily. We are actively working on getting a new location set up. More updates will be shared with the parents as soon as we have them.

Is Al Huda Secondary able to offer credit courses?

Yes, we are inspected by the Ministry of Education and we are eligible to offer credit based courses, alhamdullilah.
