Complete Tafsir of the entire Qur’an while learning word to word translation of select passages, and understanding the basics of other subject matters such as Seerah, Aqeedah, and Fiqh through guided readings.

Arabic

Unlock the beauty of the Arabic language by learning its foundations through a combined study of the Arabic grammar, morphology, and sentence structure in a workshop-style learning environment.

Meet the Teachers

ustadha Taimiyyah Zubair

Ustadha Taimiyyah Zubair is an established teacher with a focus on Qur’an. She is known for her translation and tafsir of the Qur’an. She has completed and taught a number of word-for-word translations, and brief and detailed tafasir. She has pursued intensive Islamic Studies under the guidance of her parents and scholars, Dr. Idrees Zubair and Dr. Farhat Hashmi (founders of Al Huda International). Ustadha Taimiyyah is an instructor at Al Huda Institute and Al Maghrib Institute, and can often be found teaching classes in the GTA and internationally. We’re excited to have her come on board with us!

Ustadh Syed Hassan has studied Mathematics from Waterloo University and Psychology from York University before pursuing Graduate Certification as a Life Coach and Counselor. He completed his traditional Ijazah in the Islamic Sciences, and is finishing his specialization in the Sciences of Tafsir. His Ijaazat span the Sciences of Qira’aat, Kutub’l-Hadith, texts in aqeedah, and much more. He is also currently finishing his Dawrat’l-Hadith and is also advancing his Fiqh studies. He is an educator and has served in the capacity of principalship and teacher at the Secondary Level in Ontario. We welcome him as the newest member of our team.
